Tia Hunnicutt is a California licensed real estate broker, educator, and AI trainer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is the Broker & Founder of Proxima Realty Group, where she specializes in residential sales, first-time homebuyer education, and the practical application of artificial intelligence in real estate.
 
With over 15 years of experience and more than $200 million in closed residential sales, Tia is known for helping buyers and sellers navigate complex, high-cost markets with clarity, ethics, and data-driven strategy. Her work focuses heavily on first-time homebuyers, affordability solutions, down-payment assistance programs, and consumer education.
 
Tia serves in leadership roles at both the National Association of REALTORS®️ (NAR) and the California Association of REALTORS®️ (CAR), where she advocates for housing access, property rights, fair housing, and responsible technology adoption in real estate. Her governance work informs her approach to educating clients and agents on how policy, regulation, and market forces intersect.
 
In addition to brokerage leadership, Tia is recognized for training real estate professionals on AI tools such as ChatGPT, CRM systems, and digital marketing workflows. She is frequently sought out for her ability to translate emerging technology into ethical, practical, and consumer-safe applications for real estate professionals.
